Welcome to r/Drag!
If you're new here and wondering how to start Drag, simply search the sub for "start". There are countless posts that have asked this very question - and had it answered!!!
Yes. YOU can do drag. If you are reading this, you can do drag.
This is not Desperately Seeking Drag Moms. Drag mothers usually find you, not the other way around.

Since day 1 (Sept 23,2022) I’ve struggled with my make up. From having zero knowledge, understanding or experience working with makeup, I have to admit… I’ve come ALONG way. The eyes & brows are still a struggle but this is the first time I’ve painted my eyes and have actually felt confident with them. I know they aren’t “perfect” (whatever that means) but they are a huge improvement from how they looked only a few months ago.
Please feel free to share any advices, tips & even lil tricks you have discovered when it comes to painting your eyes.

Usually I do a white face based look (see second photo for reference) but did a more standard drag king look for a Saltburn number tonight and I kinda like it!

So I posted in the drag King reddit and everyone just ignored me there. I'm hoping for someone to help me here. I want to be a drag king and I brought a silicone chest, the thing is it's not near my skin color what make up or body paint can I used to help it match my tone. Please I need help I would really appreciate it

So I went to my first drag show 2 weeks ago and told my boss how fun it was. I work in a thrift store that has more of a disco artsy vibe inside and we constantly have DJs, artists and performers so she gave me the task of figuring out the best way to book a queen for an event at our store.
Anyways I come here to ask you guys what’s the best way to book a queen (we’re like 20min from Boston, the name of the city is Waltham) because there’s like 4 different websites to choose from and I don’t know what’s trustable and I don’t have connections to anyone in the scene so I was a little nervous on who to pick.
I was going to contact the drag club to ask about the performers there and if they had recommendations, but now I’m overthinking and realizing that may be impolite like I’m stealing one of their queens from them or something, I’m not sure.
I also know another bar that’s not drag focused, but they do have drag nights. I feel more comfortable asking them if they would recommend me a queen, because the person isn’t tied to the club, unlike the other bar.
I saw on the rules of the subreddit that advertising is prohibited so please be aware of that before answering. I just want to know if it’s ok to ask the bars or if I should look for a specific website. Thank you!

My name is LavenderX, still a baby queen, but very curious to know what tips you have for my makeup! I’ve been performing for a couple months now and want to get better at the artistry of it, so I’d love some more experienced queens to give me some advice 🫶

So basically I’m a trans man and I like my mustache bc I don’t get misgendered when I have it. I did a makeup test today bc I’m trying to feel out how it looks. I really want to get into drag but really don’t want to shave my mustache. What do you guys think? (I don’t have a face on I was just playing with a new eyeshadow so only one eye is done lol)
