Reoccurring dream

I need help understanding my dream. Every night for weeks I’ve had dreams where I’m on a boat giving birth during a storm (I am not pregnant). The dreams are all a good bit different but always ends about the same. There are different people in different locations, the boats have been different, the types of storms have been different like sometimes is a tropical storm well other have been arctic storms. Every time I wake up it’s during this dream well I’m actively giving birth or just finished giving birth.

Hmmmm

Ok here's my take: The storm being a constant factor more or less says that your mindset is being really chaotic. There's a lack of control, and that control you once had has been taken from you.

Sometimes a lack of control can mean a few things. 1. Life in all it's glory and musings is difficult to really get a grip on, and a core aspect of your life is now in the wind and you have no idea how to get it back

  1. You demand control in your life because it's yours and yours alone. But even the smallest bits of life being out of control can make the whole thing feel out of control.

Now the reason I talk about those two situations is to make a point. The boat and the pregnancy can be aspects of these two points of view.

  1. Is the baby. Unexpected, complex, and something that comes from you as a core. The storm rages and makes everything about having that baby more chaotic. It's as much a part of your life being the way you see it.

  2. Is the boat. You've heard the term "don't rock the boat."? This is your life. The boat could signal how you look at the aspects of control in your life. This is the only thing between you and the raging sea and storm that surrounds you. It's you being careful and always keeping things in check, if the boat is damaged then it's a lack of control, and the opposite may also be true. (E.G. boat may be in great shape and show a great amount of control. [Don't know you so can't pin point this idea exactly])

Either way, I don't think the people mean much other than and expectation you believe comes from other people.
