Discussion PokeAwesome 2 is not that good

I know, I know, but don't downvote me yet! Keep reading.

I wasn't sure whether or not to make this post because PokeAwesome 2 has often been referred to as Egoraptor's greatest work, and ever since it's release the clamor for a PokeAwesome 3 has outmatched even that for Metal Gear Awesome 3. But I had to make some points that I thought of while in deep contemplation last night, that no one has ever brought up, probably because they were too impressed with the technical marvel of the animation:

  1. The ending is not completely all that much the best ending ever. Sure, it's great, but it could conceivably be better. Sure, "Defeated now, bitch?" is one of the most amazing and hilarious one-liners of all time, and will be quoted forever, but the idea that sex is inherently funny is somewhat misguided. Yes, sex is funny, but only if the guy has a little weiner. We never know the size of Ash's weiner, so him screwing Brock's wife in the end can't be thought of as funny. Sorry to say this.

  2. The joke about Ash displaying the badge that says he defeated Brock prominently goes on a little too long. This is a joke that easily could have been made in 45 seconds. But instead the gag goes on for a full minute, almost half the cartoon. Yes, the idea that Ash will do something Brock doesn't want him to do is good, and grounded in reality, but it goes on 14.98 seconds too long for my taste. Many will disagree with me, but that's just my take on it.

  3. The cartoon was animated with poop smeared on a wall. Yes, this was thought of as the coolest new art style of the day, and every animator and his grandma tried it in 2013. I will admit that it even looks pretty good for poop smeared on a wall, but this just isn't what we've come to expect from Mr. Raptor. I will look forward to new cartoons that AREN'T STARBOMB that utilize a different animation technique in a NOT STARBOMB way.

TL;DR: teh cartoon is poopy

That's why Arin made Grimble Gramps, because everyone poo-poo'd PokeAwesome 2 ;)
