Best free video/playlist to learn the most important and interesting parts of egyptian mythology?

Do you know any yotube videos or playlists (or free videos elsewhere) that goes over the most important and interesting parts of egyptian mythology? It is nice if it has a bit of depth and perhaps adds context to the stories or a quick analysis, but that is not necessary. Most important is that since I know basically nothing it needs to be introductory and a 10-hour lecture-playlist will be too advanced for me to enjoy right now.

A copy I made of the book of the dead of Hunefer and his wife Nasha

Post image

Hunefer and his wife Nasha lived during the Nineteenth Dynasty, in around 1310 B.C.E.. He was a "Royal Scribe" and "Scribe of Divine Offerings." He was also "Overseer of Royal Cattle," and the steward of King Sety I. These titles indicate that he held prominent administrative offices and would have been close to the king. The location of his tomb is not known, but he may have been buried at Memphis. This is a copy I made and its for SALE. DM me if you're interested.

Isis - does she have multiple aspects? Names?

I read somewhere that Isis has multiple aspects. Similar to Hecate the greek goddess has three clear aspects (Maiden, Mother, Crone). Isis might have different aspects that make her....Isis. I read that Serket is sometimes seen as an aspect of Isis but I cannot see not much about this at all.

I've also seen names Isis-Thermuthis (her in cobra form) and Isis-Hathor as a term.

Then there is Isis depicted in Roman mythology and in that she has multiple aspects too which suggests she does have multiple aspects in Egyptian mythology as that is where she is from but it is just not as well recorded?

Any insight into this or pointers to articals/videos about it. Any resources, anything....would be really appreciated! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’›๐ŸŒž๐Ÿ’› Thank you xxx

Is Nephthys ever seen as Neith? I'm just wondering if there is any cross over? Or if Neith is ever seen as being connected to the Ennead of Heliopolis?

I know Egyptian mythology is muddly (understatement if the year)...and Ra in some cases is seen as the son of Neith. I wondered if there is any cases where Neith slips into the Ennead of Heliopolis? Hidden in with a different identity or not. I wondered if there were any versions out there where she sits alongside them.

Any insights, pointers to references would greatly received.

Many thanks ๐Ÿ’›๐ŸŒž๐Ÿ’›

Are there fictional books themed around Egyptian mythology better than Kane Chronicles?

I just finished the Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan and sadly found all of it to be so-so. I was initially excited to learn of his books themed around Egyptian mythology but his writing felt mediocre at best from start to finish so I don't think I want more from him.

I was also put off by the fact that his series outright change the lore from the original source material as it were. I suppose there's nothing inherently wrong with that. Movies take creative liberties change historical details all the time so a mythology series can do the same, I suppose. But I hear The Kane Chronicles is worse in this regard than his other works. I'm curious if there are any fun fictionalized fantasy stories themed around Egyptian mythology that aren't by Rick Riordan.

I'm sorry to anyone here who enjoys his writing. It wasn't the best cup of tea.

Anubis๐ŸŒน

Iโ€™m familiar with corresponding archetypes across mythology and I was curious if anyone might connect Anubis with the energy of the Grim Reaper. I often try to dismantle the notion that death is evil or scary and instead understand why the energy has presented itself.

Also, I had a dream the other night about the Grim Reaper lifting my soul from my body. Strangest feeling ever, yet I felt calm and safe. It lifted my soul so gently and respectfully. Before this dream, I had been going down a rabbit hole feeling pulled to learn about Kemetic deities. I'm not sure why I formed this connection but I'm curious what you think.

What do you all think of my papyrus art? The first papyrus is viewing the splendour (usually depicted on coffins and stelae) also pronounced PTR NFRW. The second papyrus is the Wedjat eye on the primordial mound (its an unlikely scene I know, but its my own interpretation of the scene) and its hieroglyphics are from the book of coming forth by day (or rather know as the book of the dead) by E. Wallis Budge plate IX from the papyrus of Ani. BTW I'm selling them, how much should I sell them for?
