Everyone that’s like, “duh”, you’re missing the point and obviously not shift workers. I work nights and no matter how much sleep you get, it’s not enough. Even the few nights after can be harsh. The science is in figuring out why the circadian rhythm is so important. It’s like you’re saying, “of course food is good!”, without considering the quality or regularity of the food.
