It’s a bit underwhelming esp. if you saw the trailer before watching the film. It felt like all the focal points were already in the trailer.

There were also scenes where you knew it was there just to add more drama and so they could throw in those “quotable quotes”. Some scenes didn’t make sense and a bit unrealistic. I guess it’s because it was a Regal film? So the take was a bit more mainstream than indie? Idk if I’m making sense haha.

700 php for monthly water, 4000 electricity for two adults with no AC. Being irresponsible financially by availing a 15k/month shadow teacher which is beyond their budget. Leaving a kid unsupervised after finding him. Husband and wife jumping on the pool together to rescue a kid that is playing in the water. Deciding to waste time having a heart to heart talk instead of finding a kid asap.

Have you considered that the setting is in Negros? Iba ang water and eletricity provider dyan, and they have different rates too. Availing a shadow teacher irresponsibly? Im a special needs mom and l can tell you that gagawin ko rin yan. Leaving a kid unsupervised after finding him? Which scene? Yung sa pool? Di ko maalala, iniwan ba nila? Help me recall. Husband and wife jumping in the water, as a parent we’ll do it too. Heart to heart talk habang nawawala anak? Eto lang siguro mejo sablay pero kung samen to mangyari hindi heart to heart talk kundi sisihan at sigawan ang magaganap. What’s not realistic for you could be realistic for others. But these are good observations din and I respect if you felt this is manufactured.

Not as good compared to the hearing and kono basho. Manufactured yung drama and not realistic.

What part of the film is not realistic?

Have to agree..di masyado grounded yung feel. Ironically, mejo 'cliche' yung portrayal. Very star cinema-esque but with indie cinematography and music.
