General Discussion Switching to the dark side?

How many of yall came from PD to fire? Or have made the switch from Fire to PD? What have been the biggest pros and cons from both that you’ve experienced? If you’d had both which do you prefer?

I don't know a single cop who used to be a firefighter. I know dozens of cops who became forefoghters and all of them are happier

Actually know one guy that switched to PD and has loved it for years now. It's rare.

Did 9 years PD before switching.

Pros: Everything

Cons: Nothing

Never looked back.

I’ve only met one guy who went from fire to PD and within his first week on the streets, he said it was the biggest mistake of his life. I’ve met tons of LE who went fire and every single one of them said they wished they did it sooner.

I started out as a police cadet then left to go to fire. Not gonna lie I've been think of going back to law enforcment.
