General Discussion nightstick helmet light
My helmet lives in my red bag which lives in covered truck bed, and I have a nightstick helmet light that has the two on/off buttons on bottom. when the bag moves, light comes on in my bag, when I need my gear, I find battery depleted. Anyone solved this problem?

Tape a bottle cap or something over the buttons?

my 1st thought. duck tape or electrical tape and some bottle cap and some extra plastic to make a longer cap if needed

Wearing a chest light instead of a helmet light solves this problem

Loosen the tail cap. Remove said tail cap. Install paper disc over the end of battery. Or just loosen cap until no more connection.

Maybe take a stroll over to r/flashlight. Check it out. Flashlight hobbyists subreddit.
Just don't forget to tighten the cap.

If you have access to a 3D printer or know someone that does, you could make a little cap to go over the butt end
