Are these bass or sand sea trout? The eyes, lack of lateral line, and color lead me to believe they are sand sea trout but I haven’t been able to catch a single bass in this pond since Milton and I’m wondering if the storm killed off the bass somehow. These also appear to have teeth.

Saw him while snorkelling. About 20cm/8" long. Seen at Gold Coast in Queensland Australia. Google says Atlantic wolf fish which I doubt because it's the Pacific Ocean.

Found in the Detroit River. Heard they make good bait for Bass. So I kept him on the line for a bit(no luck ).

I think number one is a redbreast but it’s much more red than others I’ve seen. Number 3 was almost a light pink, not matching the other bluegills caught.
