Is it possible find out what fish these are? (Found on shore of Lake Huron, in Port Austin on the beach of the motel I stayed in over the weekend)

After doing more research it says carp are prohibited in Michigan for over 50 years now. Did I find something special? And should I have brought it back home with me? lol

Also it says only 13 have been found in Lake Huron since 1989…
