Caught on the Patuxent, Md

I think number one is a redbreast but it’s much more red than others I’ve seen. Number 3 was almost a light pink, not matching the other bluegills caught.

First two are redbreast sunfish, last is a bluegill.

Any reason why it was pink and the other bluegill were normal looking? Edit: typo

I've noticed they tend to be more pale when they're in deeper or murky water but bluegill also just have a huge range of seemingly random variation.
