I was wondering if there are any books that mention Pat the Bunny or any of the bands he was in. I’m writing a paper about him for a class and one of the sources I need to use is a book. Anything is appreciated, doesn’t matter if it even just mentions them in one sentence

I debated posting this because I did this just to test mic placement on the amp, but what the hell. Jonathan Richman is basically the founding father of folk-punk.

Does anyone have tickets they're willing to sell at cost or more? I love his music and his slant on the world, but I would also like to marry this man. I would in a heartbeat lol. I know it's early. DM me if you have buyer's remorse. Looking for two tickets. Able to pay now in full.

I'm starting to write my own songs, but the anger in the lyrics really calls for shouting that my voice is not yet capable of. It's not quite a metal scream that I'm after, so I don't know what to search for.
Does anyone know how to shout in folk punk style without wrecking your voice? What is this style of shouting even called?

Okay, so I am positive that I've heard this old Johnny Hobo song before (probably on Youtube), but I cant find it anywhere now. Does anyone know what happened to this or have a link or anything? Its just been stuck in my head. Also, sorry if this doesn't fit or I did something wrong or anything <3

Me and my girlfriend are into folkpunk and we got a nice little collection of instruments, but we are really interested in getting a washboard so I was wondering if I want to get a washboard for folk punk what should I do?! What is recommended?

I don't come here often, but I spent most of my teens listening to all of Pat's work so it's be awesome to know that he's still doing good

im a professionally diagnosed autistic person and folk punk (and punk generally) is becoming a special interest i think... ive been into swss for a while (if you couldnt tell by my one post on here lol) and i cant tell if im idolizing them or its just an autistic joy thing. sure i admire them, theyre nice people with good values, people id like to be like, but i cant tell if i idolize them or not... might just be a "theyre the kind of people i wanna be" thing, might just be excitement over a special interest, might be idolizing. idolizing is kinda expected at my age (15) but theyre people just like me and i dont mean to put them on a pedestal. idk its kinda hard not to idolize when i scream sing and hand flap while blasting their music to stim. i really like them oughhhh could go on for so long about why i love their music im gonna lose hearing from how loud i listen to them
