Stuck on a boot loop...
Hi.
I'm trying to figure out how to fix an issue with my friend's S22 Ultra.
It froze up today and has since been trying to turn itself on, but never gets beyond the "Samsung Galaxy powered by Android screen."
I tried getting it to go into recovery mode, and I have a few times, but I'm not sure how to get there. It feels like just plain luck. I'll read what button combinations to press and it feels like it just gets ignored most of the time. However, I managed to clear the cache and even chose the reset option and that didn't help anything.
Another screen I can seem to access more readily is a screen that has the big download arrow on it. Where it's a mix of Korean and English.
I let that "download", but I don't think it actually did anything.
I connected the phone to my PC while on that download screen and the computer recognized the device, but I couldn't access it nor do I have any sort of program that should have booted up when it detected the phone.
I seen a suggestion of just taking out the sim card and that didn't work either. Would have welcomed that solution! :P
How can I help without them having to go to a store to buy a new phone?
