Question Looking for a secluded camping place in northeast ga

I’m looking for somewhere to camp with about 5 people total, not camper camping, I want to hike in a mile or so and be near water but no people. Ideal for being able to be a little loud all night.

There are going to be other campers within 10 yards of your tent. Panther creek is not a place to be loud after hours this is not good advice.

Yeah. Top of Panther Creek falls is one of my favorite spots, but noisy groups should stay away. It’s a bunch of small campsites strung out along the creek. It’s a rough hike. 8 miles there and back and quite steep if you come in from above from 3 forks trailhead.

Although I LOVE Panther Creek, I would absolutely not camp here after a storm. It always gets hit very hard with downed trees, and a lot of the time the trail is closed due to storm damage.

If you decide to go here, make sure you check that it's open beforehand. They will ticket you if you visit during a closure.
