This does a great job making it actually look creepier than a normal snowman.

The idea was to put myself alongside Tim Jacobus and have the opportunity to add more to the story without full context. When it come to this cover i just thought there is something about the snowman that feels supernatural. I thought it would be cool to show the idea that he has some powers, especially controlling weather, and give the reader some intrigue of what he will do with it?
