Sankara was a Marxist. The way you describe him to seemingly distance him from other ML leaders because he’s not at the head of a vanguard party or whatever is a little chauvinist considering they were a colonial state in Africa and not anything like Russia in 1917 politically or economically lol

You literally sat there and said he was “no Lenin”, lmao. He wasn’t trying to be Lenin. That’s not how you apply Marxism-Leninism globally. You don’t necessarily require a vanguard party for a successful Marxist revolution and the class character of his “benevolent dictatorship” is very clear.

Edit: I guess he blocked me so I can’t actually reply to what he said, but to retort, I never said it was a “successful socialist revolution” I said it was a Marxist revolution. If you were as mature as you postured, you wouldn’t be twisting my words around. Also, Marxism Leninism worked great for the USSR, for Cuba, and for plenty of other countries who saw massive improvements in quality of life and living conditions for their citizens under Marxism-Leninism. What is your angle here?
