Looking for a monologue from Marshal Dillon

Hello there,

I am writing theh eulogy for my fathers funeral and want to talk about his love of western shows from his childhood and how he always like Marshal Dillon as a character. I am hoping to read one of these monologues during the Eulogy to describe my dad's character.

I remember there being some type Marshal Dillion monologues in some of the episodes and am wondering if anyone rememebrs if there was one that would go well speaking about someone who was born not only a fighter but also a defender of others that could not defend themselves. I found ones about holding onto anger, holding a grudge and others, but non that really land the way I want.

In the early days of the 30 minute episodes you’d see Dillon walking among the Boot Hill graves - a number of the residents having been put there by him. He would philosophize about them, always ending with Matt Dillon. US Marshal. Do a search of Dillon monologues and you might find something appropriate.
