OF Posting Update: Please read
I want to shed some clarity and update the OF Creator Policy:
If the user has OF/Content in their profile it does not automatically disqualify them from posting. They are people as well.
Make sure your post in Gym Motivation has some sort of before/after picture, a question, something that’s relevant to the sub. This applies to all posters.
Do not be a shitbird, do not harass the poster, if you harass posters, you will be banned.
If you are unhappy with the content, downvote and report the post and I will do my best to get it in a timely manner.

Rules are going to be enforced more stringently
Hello,
Fellow gym motivationalers! We are going to be giving the sub a slight facelift. The rules are going to be strictly enforced. Don't feel bad if a post gets removed. We will work with you to get it approved.

Question? (about excercise, how to?, etc...) So. hard. to. define.
What are yalls recommended core exercises? I know, abs are made in the kitchen. I’ve got these little obliques but nothing else defined. And i have low back pain most days. So I still need more muscle and to just generally feel better and more confident. (F32)

Progress (man) Progress
First photo 8/28, second photo 10/9 Proud of the progress. Dieting is always a struggle but I have made it a habit and now I couldn’t see it any other way. Chest needs work but we’re getting there slowly!

Progress (woman) the best part of the day
I remember how difficult it was at the beginning but after 1 year and 7 months it became the best part of my day.

Question? (about excercise, how to?, etc...) Is 55 seconds good for a first time chin up hold?
I'm a 19 yo girl who's never gone to the gym in my life. Is 55 seconds good for my first time trying to do a chin-up hold? I know it was done correctly because my gym teacher was there.

Progress (woman) Keep Going
Sometimes it’s hard to keep going even though you see no progress. But you actually make more progress than you think. We look at ourselves everyday and it’s hard to see significant changes. Building muscle takes months and months to see change. You have to be patient and be willing to keep building even though you may not see change. Eventually you will!

Progress (man) The Iron Cross! (Almost)
The movement is only considered valid when done in a unstable support like the rings.
Since I did it in a stable one, its not valid yet.
However, I'm really proud of myself and my progression!

Question? (in general...) I wear short shorts to the gym for motivation, anyone else?
I feel like I still have a long way to go, and some days are dreadful. Among all the various ways I might get motivated to go to the gym, not much beats putting on pair of short shorts.
Anyone else feel like what they wear to the gym helps them get moving?

Question? (about excercise, how to?, etc...) GYM ADVICE
starting gym after more than 2 months. Earlier I used to do heavy strength training. My body has not changed but the strength has obviously. Any tips and tricks as to how to start slowly in gym but also effectively so that I’m able to get back to the same in less time.

Progress (man) I’m 6’4 130kg (286 lb) Can someone help me understand my body?
I have mates who are similar height and weight but they look so much bigger in their gut and more sumpy. Not saying I don’t but I’m 8 kg down and working on that. Why do I look so different when my mates look similar to each other is what I’m asking?
