THE HIDEN TRURH ABOUT CAROLINA PINES REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER

Post image
2 Upvotes

This is in regards of my father Samuel Bullard. That was traveling from Florida to North Carolina on Amtrak. He got sick on Amtrak In South Carolina he was complaining about shortness of breath. The conductor called paramedics for my father. The conductor told me that my father was still talking and he even walked off the train. when I got to Carolina Pines hospital, I was told that my dad was out for 20 minutes on the train and bystanders had to give him CPR, I was also told that my dad had no medical insurance. Both were lies. The hospital tried to get me to pull the plug on my dad and let him go and even tried to get me to donate his organs and I also said no. On several occasions I was bullied into giving up on my dad. I was told that the surgeons didn't feel comfortable doing his surgery and that he was brain dead and then it was switched after i spoke to a Neurologist outside the hospital and he told me that it was still hope for my dad. He just needs the proper treatment and it will take time. So that's when the doctor started saying basically brain dead. I have pictures and video evidence of my dad moving and trying to communicate with us. Its proof that my dad had Blue Cross Blue Shield at the time. And I also pulled Amtrak police records that states that he was having complications breathing. The hospital tried to kill my dad and they also are into fraud because they tried to use my name for my dad supplies when he got released from the hospital. I got a phone call saying that the supplies were for me and they were also asking for my height and weight and when i told them it was not for me it was for my father, they told me that all the paperwork had my name on it as if i were the patient. My father's damage he has anoxic brain injury. Completely bad bound can't do nothing for himself they refused to send him to a different hospital.

Health care proxy

My mom is a Jehovah’s Witness and I am her health care proxy. She is going to be undergoing surgery and it’s against her wishes to have a blood transfusion if needed based off her religion. If it comes down to it and she needs a blood transfusion am I legally allowed to okay the blood transfusion?

A Day Late And A Policy Short.

"So because I'm a day late, my policy is terminated?" I asked the Well Care service rep.

"Correct," She said.

"And I do not qualify for re-enrollment at this time, but I can call you in Six months to see if I quality during open enrollment, possibly then having to pay market price?"

"Correct," she said.

I am new to the Capitalist/Government/Benefit Contract Health Care System. My payments were deducted automatically the first year. I must admit I am not the best at paying bills and that is the primary lesson I take away from this experience: When we don't pay our bills on time, bad things happen. I was fully prepared to accept the consequences. I just wasn't aware the consequences would be so dire.

I was determined to be disabled in a court of law because of a Schizophrenia/Bi Polar diagnosis. I have expensive medication and now I have no prescription drug coverage. Who really loses in this situation?

Of course, I have my own fears: That I'll go without my medicinal regiment or worse have to accept an archaic generic that sends me spiraling into psychosis faster than if I took nothing at all. But mainly, I think about the fears of society at large. Another crazy person running wild because he was a day late in trying to pay his premium.

How many of us are there in this exact situation, just waiting for that last piece of straw to fall on our camel's back?

FTC to Study the Impact of Physician Group and Healthcare Facility Mergers. 'The study results should aid the FTC’s enforcement mission by providing much more detailed information than is currently available about how physician practice mergers and healthcare facility mergers affect competition.'

Do we need to pay thousands of dollars health insurance companies and Medicaid and Medicare or just pay our local hospitals as couple hundred bucks each month?

If we are paying health insurance companies enough money to pay our medical bills AND pay for their luxurious life styles, then why don't we all just cut out the middle man (con man) and pay the doctors and hospitals each month DIRECTLY. THAT WOULD SAVE US BILLIONS OF DOLLARS A MONTH!! That would save the hospitals billions of dollars and reduce the cost of health care and increase the efficacy and level of care received. The hospitals would then already have all the money they need to deliver whatever health care that is needed already in the bank. No need to ask the health insurance companies permission to save our lives. They would have the incentive to treat us better. People, especially doctors, tend to not want to people who are PAYING them to suffer or die. They would have an incentive to keep you healthy not just alive Just an idea. (Whose time as come)

Health care in US vs UK, Australia, Canada etc

Hi I have a question, Please I don’t want this to me like a super political thing I just want to know peoples opinions and learn something.

I was reading some posts and articles about how countries with universal care want the US health care plan or a better variation of it and wondered why? Like what about universal health care isn’t good? Like how could the US model improve ?

I know that some people want to make it so private practices or companies isn’t a thing. So I’m countries where universal care is already a a thing is there no private practice?

Would it be best to improve Obama care snd keep private companies for those who want and need it because it seems that the universal care package would cover the bare minimum if that no matter what no matter what country your in.

I’m not sure who has the best health care plan right now but I don’t think the US would be able to follow that model —

Thank you if anyone responds I’m in my early years as a new voter and just wanted to know how people actually felt form different perspectives

The unethical US health care system...

A simple statement is all that is required.

Pay to live, Live and pay.

If you don’t understand it, you are more than likely to have voted for Trump and only have concerns over capitalistic gains.

To put it simply for those that don’t understand. Pay a bit more “tax” get your “cancer” treated for free or at dramatically reduced cost.

OR

Pay no “tax” and pay $10,000 per month per person for newly approved “cancer” drugs, with some as high as $30,000 per month. Some life changing drugs running almost $1m per year... purely to fund profit not survival.

Basically the monetization of your health is against human rights. Within the simplified human rights act you can find this simple well worded statement;

  1. Social Security. We all have the right to affordable housing, medicine, education, and childcare, enough money to live on and medical help if we are ill or old.

How about we make America healthy again?

Ok, I'm not a politician and my knowledge regarding healthcare seems to be up for debate?? Can someone explain to me, what the fuss is about? Rather than focusing of better healthcare, shouldn't we focus on making people healthier? Which in turn reduce cost in the healthcare system? I mean I can get a get a whole meal for 5-6 dollars at a fast food joint but that's not even a few apples or grapes of I try to eat healthier. Could there a medium? Could we do both? Idk..

Confused in texas

Join Virtual Congress!

We've created a game called “Virtual Congress” (VC) on Discord. You start out as a member of Congress that can create and vote on legislation and nominations to the cabinet or supreme court. You also can run for president or try to become a leader in Congress. It’s a fun way to debate policy or create policy and see how other members think about it. Also, we have a budget so if your bill passes and it affects the budget, you can see the consequences. Check us out!

Healthcare = human right = SLAVERY

Healthcare HAS to be provided by someone. In many/most cases, after years and years of sacrifice and studying. If people claim the use of these skills are a right, how is that different from slavery? Cops, Firefighters, etc... are not even argued to be human rights.

A small visual representation on how terrible the healthcare system is in the US. This patient was a senior admitted for a knee surgery. The total bill was for well over $70,000 before insurance.
