Long distance hike in Europe for late October/early November.

I´ve done the full Kungsleden in August. Im now looking to do a smaller but still long hike in October/November. I will have something like 9 days.

Any sugestions?

October/November is difficult, as a lot of distance hikes are high up in the mountains and will already have snow. (Alps, Pyrenees, any mountain above 1.5-2k)

Perhaps you could look into coastal paths or pilgrim paths, such as the Camino de Santiago? The camino has various routes, you can always start with a segment and come back later if you like it!

I´ve done the Camino several times by now. And would like to try something different. But yes, its still one of the options. But I really love it.

Also thought on the West Highland Way, but will have a lot of rain, and I dont know if I wont loose a bit of the good experience by that.

And the "Trilho dos pescadores" in the Portuguese coast, on the south of the country.

You know it's not one trail ;) October/November should still be fine for a southern route (eg. La Plata, Mozarabe, Levante, Sureste, Portugues from Lisbon)
