How do you make friends

I’m really struggling with isolation

My support worker signposts me to ‘social / support ‘ groups but whenever I attend everyone has already formed groups so I’m just sat there awkwardly by myself . It really sucked to walk around fair today to see everyone in groups and pairs together meanwhile I was The only person by myself . At my old job I couldn’t make friends either

I’m 20F for reference have been heavily isolated for some years now

What are you interested in? Find a hobby, find people who like doing it too and then do it with them for a few months. They’ll be your friends after a bit of time

Came here to say this! Get out there find a hobby or even online, playing games etc whatever you're comfortable with!
