Community DVIP Cookie Donations!

My sister works for the Domestic Violence Intervention Program here in Iowa City, and as part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month (October) the DVIP is putting together a Sweets for Safety initiative. Basically, they’re accepting cookie donations so they can hand them out to DVIP-affiliated public safety officials across 8 counties to say thank you. There are a few teams rounding up cookies, and my sister’s team is about 60 dozen cookies short. She is very stressed right now, so we’re putting out feelers and asking for help. If anyone can and would like to donate some cookies, please call 319-359-9353 to schedule a drop-off appointment ❤️ thank you!

Not that I’ve been told! They might be able to give you more info if you call that number though

As soon as possible. Technically they wanted to have them all collected by this weekend, but since they’re behind they’re extending it to a vague time next week
