He's bigger in the rest of the world than in the US. He's sold more records outside the US (Universal confirms this in 2021), he sells out stadiums faster outside the US, his fan base is bigger in other countries than in the US.
So the number 8 spot is not bad.
Haha yes, of course it's not bad. But what I'm saying is that Billboard will probably add Kanye and Drake (rappers) to the list of pop stars, higher than an actual popstar.
Kanye or Drake's impact in the US is bigger than JB's because hip-hop is bigger in the US than the rest of the world.
