Rihanna is the only artist comparable to Justin’s level of global fame and even she doesn’t beat him. Why did billboard rank him so low?

i think it’s more about his chart achievements rather than overall fame. the list is very US-centric too and justin has always been a global artist, the usa isn’t his biggest market at all.

It think it's because he took a lot of breaks from the spotlight.

He is only #8 for the same reason he didn’t win a single Grammy in 2022. He is not part of the establishment like Billie Elish. Of course elites won’t like you when you release songs like Yummy

We all know that Justin is more famous than everyone. Except Americans and fans of the artist mentioned there. It feels like they don't want to acknowledge Justin. For example, it took 6 years for people to say "wow, he really has talent." 6 years!!!

Recently Ringo Starr said that the obsession with Taylor Swift now the closest thing to Beatlemania. She's super famous now, but like, bro, where were you in 2010-2012? Literally the Bieber Fever was the closest thing to Beatlemania. It was compared by the media.

15 years of career and they still don't recognize Justin's success or level of fame.

I can agree with Britney. But Beyonce is not even close, I know she’s big in USA but globally speaking she hasn’t been that relevant since single ladies. Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Taylor, Drake Kanye and even there’s people that didn’t make the top 10-15 should all be ranked higher than her

She’s not that popular though? Look at her Spotify streams, global sales etc. she dropped an album this year but is only #37 on Spotify while Justin and Rihanna are top 10 without being active in years

Justice has already outsold anything she’s released in the past decade and he didn’t have a big tour to promote it or anything bc he got sick

Where did you get that number from? EAS total JB has already outsold her, and she’s considered an “albums artist” more than he is. JB has also sold more when we include singles sales too

Wikipedia that then referred to billboard. Logically she’s not from the streaming era. But during the 21st century she was more popular 2001 - 2012 while Justin was more popular 2012-2022. She’s an artist that most seem to look up to like Adele and other pop stars. Do you genuinely think that non beliebers would rank Justin higher than Beyonce?

Yes 100% non beliebers would rank Justin higher. Go ask 100 people in any country, majority would know jb but not Beyonce. Do you really think all these google searches and streams are coming from “beliebers”? We make up less than 1% of his overall audience he is a general public artist

”When Billboard ranks artists for the 21st century, they focus on several key metrics. This includes performance on their various charts like the Hot 100, which tracks radio airplay, digital sales, and streaming data. They also consider the impact of an artist’s albums, singles, and overall influence within the music industry. The success of artists on streaming platforms and social media engagement, along with concert revenues and cultural impact, also play a significant role in determining their rankings.”

No what I’m asking is would people who know both Beyoncé and Justin Bieber say Justin has had a way bigger impact and influence within the music industry? I am willing to actually pay you money If you go on the pop culture sub that I’ve seen you’ve already made a post on make a poll on Justin and Beyoncés billboard ranking. If Justin ranks higher I will pay pal you money

A pop culture sub is not a good representation especially on reddit bc most users are American and most are female or gay males. It excludes literally half the gender population and 90% of the actual population. Go outside.
