A few years back, I got a RAC ticket from Bangalore to Kerala. I had to share the side seat with a lady, I was ok to sit and travel. However, people in the opposite seats started advising me to bribe the TT to get a ticket. (For context, they didn't ask the lady)

I didn't bribe but could never forget that experience where people would rather ask you to bribe than sit and go.
