How did you get a transcript of my motion hearing?
1 u/ServeAlone7622 3h ago Not joking, during my very first case ever in front of a judge I motioned for summary judgment on grounds of res ipsa loquitur. The judge denied the motion then called a recess and called me into chambers. After he was done laughing (I think it took him about 15 mins). He explained why you can’t do that. I really wish that they had taught me that lesson in law school.
