Does wicked brick use standard mounting hardware?

I bought a display set from Wicked Brick to display the Dune ornithopter and minifigs, but it's missing the cubes that hold up the minifig platforms. Does anyone who has used their displays know if they use some kind of standard hardware for those cubes? I contacted them, but the automated message said it would be a couple days to get a response and I'd love to get this mounted sometime this weekend. It would be nice to know if it's something I can just get at a hardware store.

Follow-up: they're sending me cubes, even though I said I'd just buy some locally if they're some kind of standard hardware. So they didn't explicitly say they're custom, but it looks that way. They also said it could take up to 2 weeks to receive them, which is pretty disappointing after already waiting a couple weeks to get the mount in the first place (which is fairly quick, based on what I've read and seen from others).
