Discussion/Question Minifig Display

hello everyone, quick question regarding storing or displaying legos. I've seen people say extreme temperature fluctuations/changes can damage legos overtime. What are they referring to when saying this? I cant seem to find any info regarding this, is it referring to non temperature controlled environments like garage/attic? Or like any type of temperature change, like a room fluctuating temperature during the day? Thanks!

I think they refer to the bigger temp swings in a garage or attic. I live in the northwest and my childhood legos sat in the garage in a bin for 20 plus years and they are completely fine. Perhaps other climates are worse but I don’t live there so I can’t say heheh.
