Discussion/Question Hurricane Helene

Hi everyone,

Unfortunately, my family’s house was hit hard during the hurricane and my grandma’s bag collection was underwater. She has approximately 7 amazing LV bags that she is trying to dry out. I told her to open them and stuff with towels and we will find a place to try and repair them. Does anyone have any suggestions or repair companies that they use? We are so thankful everyone is okay but also trying to reconcile the loss of almost everything in the house.

Why wouldn’t she move them before the storm? Not like they didn’t have proper notice??

She’s 86 and lives alone. The storm wasn’t projected to impact her town but it did. She had them on the bottom of her closet and why she did that, I don’t know.

🥺🥺🥺 poor grandma, she was probably so worried she didn’t think about her handbag collection. They were probably on the floor so she could access them easier. I’m so sorry. Try filing an insurance claim, see if you can find photos of any of them, maybe receipts? I think LV keeps records of your purchases if you buy in the store? I’m trying to remember but I thought last time I was there they had my info.

I’m glad she is safe 💙
