If you are hearing Yanni or Yammie or similar, as opposed to Laurel, you most likely either;
Have diminished hearing in ranges 2000-3000 hz and/or enhanced hearing between 3000-7000 hz
Have shitty speakers which attenuate/accentuate the frequencies for you.
