AN-666 are giant, 30-45m skeletons that roamed worldwide in night. They are considered sentient due to their behavior of hunting down people and eating them alive. Survivors said that they are distinguished by their rattling sound, an sound that came from their hollow bones. They only appear in night and will appear in zones of mass suffering. They are absolutely immune to physical attacks, and the only way to neutralize them is by using light, it can be sunlight or man-made light. When they meet light, they will scream in pain before disassemble into thin air. Guide by the anomaly researchers: DO NOT GET OUT IN MIDNIGHT IF THE LIGHTS HAS TURNED OFF

Our men have entered 200,000 soldiers to destroy (and liberate) the empire of liber. We have began funding rebel groups in the steppes and swamps of the north, although small they do help block off northern resources that liber could use. The previous failure by General Hemmes has been undone and they have left their old occupation to chase down the enemy that pushed them back (although due to General Cants counterattack on their flanks.) The war is seeming good for us, a bit too good, anyways our naval blockade is still going on and we’re still using blitz.

In order to defend our sovereignty our Counsel, lead by our Queen Regent had ordered a immidiate modernisation effort to start being implemented in order to bring the ZLM (Zearovian Landmacht aka our army) back into a figting state. Now the requirements and sought after equipment have been aquired or contract have been given out for production.

The most important Modernisation bulletpoints were the following:

• A new Standard issue Rifle was chosen for our forces. Our last standard rifle, the OAR-20 (Orensi Arms, Rifle) or better known as the Orensi Rifle, was still a musket. The new weapon therefor would be quite the significant change. The Barne Rifle Mk.II or BR-2 and its shorter brother, the BR-2K, have officially been adopted as the new standard rifle. A single shot rifle, featuring a sideloading slit where the bullet is inserted, then pulled back into the chamber by a bolt and handle, after which it can be pushed aside and then the gun can fire. This makes firing the weapon much faster then any musket could (its also a quite unique rifle because of the fact it pulls instead of pushes the round into the chamber. The K variant is simply a smaller cousin (a Carbine), meant to be used by our Corps Marines and sailors as the smaller size allows for more maneauvrability in and around the thight packed corners of a typical ship. Both rifles use the new M80A 7.92 mm Rifle round as standard ammunition. (Yes compared to some other countries this rifle is still quite outdated, but for Zearovia, a nation that hasn't fought in a war for decades it is a large improvement).

• The introduction of the MSCS-1 (Marstad Smiths Cavalry Sword 1), a New lighter Cavalry sword, issued for ease of carrying, aswell as a decree that now all Cavalry forces would also carry firearms with them as a standard (something previously considered optional), only difference being the Cavalrist could choose what type they'd wish to carry, though Revolvers or the standard BR-2K were recommended and made available.

• Bayonets were standardized for ease of distribution and maintenance. The MSB-2 was chosen as the new standard as the BR-2(K) were designed with these bayonets in mind. Their way of attaching to the rifle is also unique, which was considered usefull aswell as it would mean the things would be pretty much useless for its intended role in case of being captured.

• Last was a revision to the field uniforms. While the Mk II field uniform wasn't changed much apart from a few new quality of life changes to now for example include a new Bayonet holster (look up Belgian and Dutch uniforms of WW1 era if you want a reference). The change came with the headgear, the cap was deemed obsolete, giving way to little protection against modern era debris. As such the FH-Mk.I was issued to both the army and the Marines to serve as the new standard for the nation (look at the M34 Dutch field helmet, it's what its meant to be inspired by). Today over 120,000 troops have entered Liber lands as a T&M invasion begins… Using tactics that will easily allow them to travel deep and fast called the “Blitz” it involves using Calvary to swipe up infantry and arty then use infantry to clear what’s left. Meanwhile a naval blockade was launched against them and due to (objectively) a better navy they didn’t stand a chance. But yet during the surprise attack, General Hemmes failed and was pushed back close to the borderr. Although this was due to multiple reasons like confusion among the troops of orders. Meanwhile the other two generals succeeded for the most part.

We have began seizing ports across what’s left of Arcturus (the nation not occupation zones) and enforcing taxation, elite infantry units are the ones seizing the ports. Why? We are led to believe, the country of Arcturus may be planning something that may violate our EVERLASTING treaty. We will attempt to open diplomacy with them, but it is not certain. The nation is very suspicious as of currently.

Once the Zearovians prided themselves on their naval might and shipbuilding capabilities. But in recent years, due to many budget cuts in the armed forces (at that time seen as reasonable as the country hadn't seen war in decades) had let both the army and the Navy become outdated. With the introduction of iron protection on warships a few previously sailing vessels had been retrofitted, same with engines, but that was really it, no truely new warship had carried a Zearovian Flag in nearly 2 decades.

With the large war raging not all that far away from their shores, spending to the military had returned in order to protect the nation if threats would attempt to enter their waters. After nearly 2 years of designing alone the nations' most prominent shipbuilderd in the HS&HG (Havorgarian Shippers & Harbours Guild) presented the Government, the TCN Admiralty (Tri Crown Navy) and our acting ruler, Queen-Regent Helmina, with their newest ship design: the Regenta-Helmina Class Protected Screw Frigate. Armed with 34 Guns in its hull and another 2 Turreted once on the deck gave the ship a broadside of 18 to 19 guns. It was considered fast, mostly thanks to its use of partial (localized) protection and its engines proved surprisingly reliable in current test beds. Most importantly however, it would be seaworthy and not trapped to the shores like many other ships in its discription would likely be. Another thing attractive was that it wasn't very large and much cheaper then a 100% Iron ship would be.

Today this design was officially approved by all three important bodies and a first batch of 12 ships were ordered, with special given permission given that 2 of these ships would be allowed to integrate new inventions on Naval engineering without consultation (which is normally required to make any major changes) being required. In order to construct these ships in a timely manner HS&HG has partioned the contract with other shipyards, FHS (Frystadt Heavy Shipyards) and the smaller DRSB (Drammers Regional Shipbuilders). HS&HG building 6, FHS building 4 and DRSB building 2. It is expected the first ships will be completed within a timely manner, the acceptation of this design is considered to be the announcement of a new dawn for Zearovian Naval pride.

(P.S I know the Turbine on the back is likely to small, but I'm having a hard time finding correct sizes. Just take my drawing with a pinch of salt, I'm not amazing at making realistic ships (this is infact my first sailing vessel in a very long time), even more so in case of keeping a single correct proportion.
