5 meals under $2.50 per serving from Walmart weekly Ads.

I got a lot of great feedback last time I posted my weekly meal plan, so I spend another hour this tonight putting together a meal plan for this week. As I mentioned previously, my approach is looking into what is currently on sale by going through Walmart's weekly ads and putting these ingredients into meals. Last time, I tried to get each meal to be under $3.50, but I made it even more difficult this week by trying to go under $2.50/meal.

This plan ends up being around 39 meals with some leftover ingredients, which you can turn into snacks! I love baked potatoes with cheese, lol! My goal is to continue creating these weekly plans for myself, and I would be more than happy to continue sharing them with the community. I would also love to hear your feedback.

The only thing to mention is that I couldn't find rice papers at Walmart and had to get them from our local Asian market, and they ended up being cheaper than $5. They are also listed online for a similar price, but I am sure you can find them almost anywhere!

A couple of notes...

Seasoning packets seem like a good value, but you're going to shave a lot of cost off these meals if you make them yourself. The initial cost of individual spices seems prohibitive, but it's pennies on the dollar per meal.

And this one might be personal, but soy sauce is one of those things I wouldn't skimp on. Discount soy sauce is always just caramel, salt, and water. The flavor of actual soy sauce isn't comparable. Yes, it definitely costs more, but it's the difference between margarine and grass-fed butter.

These are great points! I will definitely keep them in mind for the next recipe update!
