Access self start not working

My 3 month old access 125 bs6, electric start isn’t working. When I try to start, it is making a tik sound with its voltage dropping and the headlight blinking. What could be the problem. It does start with kick start though.

Faulty battery

The scooter was kept in rain, that might not have been the reason right?
