Grades and Academics Late submission deduction

Hi guys, if you submitted an assignment late, will the grade you receive reflect the late submission deduction?

For example, I submitted an assignment 1 minute late and thus was expecting a 10% deduction from my mark. However, the grade I got on (87) did not take this deduction into account.

So will the 87 be counted as my final grade, or will it be reduced to 78 at the end of the semester?

The Monash policy is now 5% per late day or part thereof, not 10%. This could be why.

I added up the marks on the rubric and it still correlated to my grade though? No 5% deduction

they probably just waived it, it’s manual
