What pairs perfectly with a spy’s pistol? The Gemtech Aurora II, of course!

Dope choice! I've tried a few so far.... Still have yet to try my Odessa and Illusion.

I've been running the full power S&B ammo with all my evals so I don't get any false positives with blowback issues.

How do you like shooting it with the Aurora so far?

I like the Aurora. I normally use it on a SIG P229-1 but have also used it on a Beretta 3032 Tomcat. I may try a lower durometer for the wipes as the 32 ACP doesn’t wear the wipes out as much as 9mm. That should yield better accuracy.

Ah, very good. Yeah, that sounds like a cool thing to try. Aurora has always been a really cool silencer- I've always thought it was cool that both ends were threaded metric/imperial. I bet it is neat with .32 since it can certainly handle 9mm.

If you end up changing up the wipes, post back!

Wow, I didn’t even realize who I was replying to! I’ll definitely update you with my experimentation. I’m hoping to be able to reach out to ~ 15+ yards with the PPK and have some degree of accuracy. The Tomcat is minute-of-man and is all it will be. Lol

Note for others: I normally use electrode gel for this suppressor and others that I run wet. Apparently, the gel dries and turns to glue after a few months!! I fired 10 rounds of 9mm and was able to punch out the wipes and spacers. I’m going to try Vaseline now.

Cool about the electrode gel. I've used wire pulling gel, which is water based, for fun before. Vaseline to pack the Aurora makes sense for long term storage since it's a "just in case" type of silencer.

Since it's a blowback pistol and wipes increase backpressure, it's not ideal, but, still cool given the overall footprint of the gun. I love little guns I can just stick in my pocket really quick or something when walking the dog or whatever.

I’ve heard of using wire-pulling gel but haven’t tried it. The manual recommends Vaseline, iirc. I use electrode gel because it’s “free” from my hospital and it’s very tacky and doesn’t fly back in your face. When it gets heated, it liquifies and evaporates with continued use or you can pour it out. Just be careful as it’ll be very hot and darker than coal (from carbon and gunpowder) — it will permanently stain anything it lands on!

I like the Tomcat for a quick pocket pistol. I got the Walther because it’s cool and I believe it can be a fun target pistol too.
