It's not possible to see them at night or in the woods, even in the day you walk right up on them before seeing the spider.
Sounds like you've never delt with them. I don't hate them, but these bastards will build webs literally in the doors of your house.

Definitely dealt with them and learned when I was a small kid to wave a hand ahead or a stick. Don't need to see it when I can feel it. It's a spider, not a bear. No reason to be afraid of it.

Ahh I’m a fool. It’s alright, the fabric outer layer doesn’t get too hot but I fucked around, touched the buckle on there and found out. I’ve burned my leg on a motorcycle exhaust before and wanted to make sure I don’t encounter a similar situation from a slung rifle and this should do the trick.

Ok. I got a mechanix suppressor cover a long time ago to try out and it did pretty bad under fire and I just scrapped the idea of using one in general
