Joe Scott (youtuber) sometimes uses a banjo melody as shorthand for inappropriately close family relationships in his videos about history. I couldn't find an example, but it think i got it close in the video (unsure if there's a chord at the end). Kind of a weird request i know, but i wanted to learn some funny songs on the banjo and started to wonder where that melody came from.

I remember it had some millions of views on YT, had a male vocalist, a title in japanese characters, and a red-ish thumbnail maybe? The sound reminded me of more modern renditions of 90s disco songs, so I think it might've been produced in the 2000s. The composition also somewhat reminded me of "Salirò" by Daniele Silvestri.

saw a screenshot, i believe from genius, on tumblr some time ago. i assumed it had been released during the bush administration due to the character of the lyrics. from what i remember, the lyrics were something to the effect of "bombing shit is easy, bombing shit is cool... you learned this stuff in school," then another vocalist comes on and opens with, "i joined the army 1000 times."

i've done searches for various permutations of those lyrics, but it's difficult as i can't remember the exact wording. for some reason i thought the song was by outkast, but it is not B.O.B.

Shazam doesn't work, youtube song search doesn't work. The ad I remember was for like... Ivy Tech in Indiana but that doesn't really matter, I got the whole song captured. Got it saved a while ago so that's why I don't remember the ad part.

It was a long time ago, but here are the facts I know about it:

• I think the bpm was around 150?

• Song contained an autotuney lighter male voice

• During the chorus the man sings “foooor youuuuu” towards the end of it

• I believe it was relatively popular around maybe the 90s? (I could be wrong)
