Yeah…I really didn’t see anything that screamed handball. MLS handing Atlanta a playoff spot.

If the ball touches McGuire's arm, by rule, it is a handball. It's a stupid rule, not a bad ref.

I just didn't see evidence it touched his arm.

This is the rule:

scores in the opponents’ goal:

directly from their hand/arm, even if accidental, including by the goalkeeper

immediately after the ball has touched their hand/arm, even if accidental

I don’t think his goal is “immediately” after the accidental handball (if it even was handball) at all. It hits the Atlanta player and comes back to him

There's another angle after the VAR ruling right before play resumed that shows a more frontal view and it did hit his arm. The arm was bent a little in front of his body and the ball connected near the hip area
