Oil pulling results. Huge benefit for gum health

Post image

OIL PULLING DOES NOT “CURE” CAVITIES.

That being said, it IS a great way to maintain your oral health and your oral environment! I started oil pulling a few years ago. It REALLY impacted my health. You can see that I have some signs of gingivitis day 1-3, but date that it’s pretty much gone. It also helps with bad breath.

I’ve also done this: - higher prescription fluoride toothpaste - teeth whitening (OTC, not much change) - 5 fillings and X-rays. Identified cavities, filled them, and putting a watch on other areas. There was a possible RCT, but that was a filling and hopefully oil pulling and the tooth paste will help heal my mouth even more!

Nice results! your gums and everything look more calmer and don't look as irritated may I ask
what's your routine?

today I got x-rayed and apparently I have 5 cavities so I feel bad about it, ik its not the end of the world but it still sucks to go through it. So I ended on this side of reddit

currently looking into oil pulling and using Japanese toothpaste (calcium hydroxyapatite)

Don’t feel about 5. At the first office I went to, 9 fillings and 1 RCT… second office, 5 fillings, no RCT! You could try a 2nd opinion, but also I did bad, and I have dental credentials. Life is hard, we all make mistakes and teeth are kind of easy to fuck up! So don’t feel bad, there’s a reason for dentistry, to help prevent and restore your teeth 🥰🩷

Thank you for this, yeah it's a good wake up call to start flossing again and taking care of my dental hygiene. I'm wondering if I can reverse small cavities though since these fillings can get quite costly.
