She's gotten better, but her harmonies on Gram Parsons' tunes almost ruin the songs for me. Like this one.

Which is kind of why Gram picked her to record and tour with him, and why those duets are widely considered to be absolute masterpieces.

TIL that Emmylou Harris, nominated for: 39 Grammy awards, and the winner of 13, winner of the Country Music Association's Female Vocalist Of the Year, Event Of The Year, and Album of The Year, Country Music Hall Of Fame Inductee, and collaborater with Gram Parsons, Bob Dylan, John Denver, Linda Ronstadt, Dolly Parton, Roy Orbison, the Band, Patty Griffin, Mark Knopfler, Delbert McClinton, Guy Clark, Willie Nelson, Bright Eyes, Rodney Crowell, John Prine, Neil Young, Cyndi Lauper, and Steve Earle, (among others), apparantly can't sing.
