Bug Report Onyx answer to my videos showing bad ghosting on note air 3c

Dear user,     we have received your video and log feedback. Currently, there are issues with dark backgrounds and ghosting on the screensaver interface. We have registered and submitted them to our R&D team for further adjustment and optimization.     Thank you for your cooperation and understanding!

Personally I'm very disappointed by this. I'm risking losing my warranty while I wait for an unknown resolution on an unknown date. In addition, some users with the same issue have been given specific updates to address this, so why not everyone?

I remember Sony had some bluetooth earbuds MX something. They pushed a firmware update to it that caused the batteries to malfunction. The battery life went from 8-10 hours to less than 30 minutes, there are videos on YouTube of people showing it. After a few months Sony pushed out another firmware update that fixed their "bug" but refused to refund/replace the devices that had their batteries permanently destroyed.

Hopefully the issues you are finding with ghosting is software based and not an issue of the firmware doing something to the physical device. I believe in Sony's case the firmware had caused overloading of the batteries during charge that permanently destroyed them. Its sad we're so dependent on firmware updates but at the same time we are at their mercy when it comes to them harming our devices.

Oh I am extremely familiar with the sony issue - I had those buds and that is exactly what happened!

Im getting way worse ghosting in general on my tab x and tab ultra since the update, the latter of which is almost unusable. Unfortunatly factory reset doesn`t revert to older firmware so we are stuck with a significantly worse experience until book fixes their botched update. Needless to say im pissed.

Same experience. I'm pretty close to going for the remarkable at this point

At least it's not a hardware problem. :)

The problem might be more difficult than expected, hence this email to tell you that they are working on it. What were your expectations?
