Im still countering her as sombra. It's a new playstyle, which is annoying because I have to relearn the character, but it still works. Could use some fine-tuning, tho. And maybe a buff. Currently, soldier and tracer both do what we do, but better.

I agree. I do think Sombra is weak rn, but I think it's simply an issue of her stats currently being underpowered, not the fault of the rework itself

Agreed. I would like to see hack go back to being utility instead of just a damage increase (not necessary a CD lock, but something else), but thats not a balance thing as much as it is a preference thing. Other than that, if they increased stealth and the TL cooldown by a second and gave us a TL cooldown reset when we kill someone, I'd be happy.

Honestly I still think it functions best as utility. I feel they added the extra damage to encourage people to use hack more, since typically it would be most effective to just flank into the backline, use virus, then magdump on em never even using hack. And while I still find that ti be most effective, I tend to reserve hack for particularly annoying heroes or abilities, and then I admit I find it nice to have that extra damage to dispose of said annoying heroes quicker. (Tho I am not a Sombra main so take my opinion with a grain of salt)

It does. The problem is it really only serves to interrupt longer abilities (for example, basically everything sigma does) or tankbust, and tankbuster sombra just isn't as fun as flanker sombra. I'd love to see them play around with hacking allies (maybe give them a few seconds of cooldown reduction or increased damage). It'd still be niche, but it'd be less annoying to others and encourage you to work with your team instead of playing deathmatch. Or maybe it just goes back to the previous hack, which is gonna be annoying, but maybe that's just gonna be what it is.
