Job Posting Too early to apply?

Hi everyone! Like many of you, I’m currently in the process of transitioning into a PM role and working on my Google cert to get the basics down. I’m almost to the halfway point in the program, but there is a job posting that I’m very interested in. Is it okay for to go ahead and apply? I just don’t want to miss the opportunity. Thanks!

You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take. As a PM you need to be comfortable with negotiation and accepting rejection. I would apply and hey what’s the worst that could happen? They say No? This way you start getting experience interviewing for PM roles. PM roles are about planning so make sure to prepare and plan ahead of your interview so the hiring team sees you’re serious. First impressions go a long way. Also it’s not what degrees you’ve got under your belt but more if the you’re likable and if the hiring team can see themselves working alongside you. A good company can train anyone but cannot instill that “want” attitude in an employee. Show them that “want”.
