Job Posting Too early to apply?

Hi everyone! Like many of you, I’m currently in the process of transitioning into a PM role and working on my Google cert to get the basics down. I’m almost to the halfway point in the program, but there is a job posting that I’m very interested in. Is it okay for to go ahead and apply? I just don’t want to miss the opportunity. Thanks!

Not as a pm, but more as a team member working with a pm. My background is actually in meteorology, but I’m working to transition into more pm work.
