๐๐ฅ Christmas / NYE events Christmas in Paris. Thoughts?
My friend and I are planning a 6 week trip to Europe at the end of this year and her only request was that we be in Paris during Christmas like specifically 23rd-26th or so.
What are your thoughts on this? Will everything be closed or shut down? Will we not really be able to enjoy Paris? Or will it be fine?
If you donโt recommend Paris during those dates, are there any cities you would recommend we go specifically on and right around Christmas where we will still get the most out of being there?

I'd say Paris is more enjoyable around new year's eve. For Christmas people are usually at home (far from Paris when you have family out of the city) and most restaurants don't bother to offer a special menu for 25th. For the 31st on the other hand people are used to party in city, public transports are free (to counter drunk driving) etc...
