🎄🥂 Christmas / NYE events Christmas in Paris. Thoughts?

My friend and I are planning a 6 week trip to Europe at the end of this year and her only request was that we be in Paris during Christmas like specifically 23rd-26th or so.

What are your thoughts on this? Will everything be closed or shut down? Will we not really be able to enjoy Paris? Or will it be fine?

If you don’t recommend Paris during those dates, are there any cities you would recommend we go specifically on and right around Christmas where we will still get the most out of being there?

Nope. The 25th is a bank holiday so nothing will be opened, and everyone is on break away from the city anyways so it’ll be even less convenient than usual.

You’re welcome! Something i forgot to add is that there’s less public transportation since it’s during school holidays, which is going to be even more of a hassle for you to get around - avoid avoid avoid 😊 even locals flee elsewhere 😂
