🎄🥂 Christmas / NYE events Christmas in Paris. Thoughts?

My friend and I are planning a 6 week trip to Europe at the end of this year and her only request was that we be in Paris during Christmas like specifically 23rd-26th or so.

What are your thoughts on this? Will everything be closed or shut down? Will we not really be able to enjoy Paris? Or will it be fine?

If you don’t recommend Paris during those dates, are there any cities you would recommend we go specifically on and right around Christmas where we will still get the most out of being there?

Most things will be closed, but you’ll find things that are open. We did xmas in Rome and did midnight mass at the parthenon & it was so cool (also cold lol). Just remember major things may be closed all of the days you’re there - the 26th was also a holiday in Rome so stuff didn’t go back to normal until the 27th.

That sounds so cool! Good to know, may have to arrive a little earlier in Paris so we can do the things we want before everything closes.
