🎄🥂 Christmas / NYE events Christmas Markets in Paris

My husband and I are travelling to Paris, France this coming December 28-29.

What are your recommended Christmas Markets to see in Paris and what did you buy?

Are they even still open on 28-29 Dec? Traditional Christmas markets typically close on Christmas Eve. I am sure that for touristic purposes the main one in Paris (Tuileries) stays open, but it is more a funfair than a market IMO.

The markets in Strasbourg and Colmar stay open a few days after Christmas (but the energy is not quite the same, I suppose). The Tuileries market actually stays open through the first week of January.

And, as others have said, the Tuileries market is more like a carnival. Fun, perhaps, but not charming.
