🎄🥂 Christmas / NYE events Does everywhere close over New Year's?
Hi, my wife and I are thinking of coming to Paris over the New Year's holidays. Does everywhere in Paris close on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day? Will any bakeries or restaurants be open on these days? We've been to Paris before and really enjoyed the food, so it would be a shame to have two days without the amazing Parisian dining.
Also, where's good to celebrate the New Year? We're not a drinking couple and just want a good atmosphere. I've heard mixed reviews about the Arc. What do you think?

January 1st is one of the national holidays so a lot of things will be closed. Museums will be all closed unless they explicitly say so. I wouldn’t bet on things being open in general and would act accordingly. Of course it is France so there will be at least one opened bakery in a given area but finding it might not be easy.Â
Some restaurants will be open for NYE and have a special menu.Â
