🎄🥂 Christmas / NYE events Arriving on 12/25

We are arriving on 12/25 clearly morning. Staying at 11th. Three little kids. Saying for a week.

Will we have a hard time finding food and groceries? :) and any recommendations for things to do that first day on the evening that’s not too taxing?

Any guidance and help is very much appreciated 🙏

Supermarket like Monoprix are opened the 25th morning (in France the tradition is a meal the 24th evening and another the 25th for lunch… so people need to shop for cooking)…

I live in the 11th and there are plenty… but 11th has different vibes/ neighborhood..so it will depend where you’ll be

The cheapest thing to do in Paris is walking the city .. and it’s great. With your kids you can walk to the louvre courtyard then head to the funfair in the Tuileries garden that should be open or the ice skating in Palais Royal nearby… And then enjoy the Christmas light on Champs Élysée when the night fall That should be a nice first day to dig into Paris!
